Dr. Robert Heritage holds a B.A. in music education from Louisiana College, a Master of Music from Mississippi College and a Ph.D. in Music Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. He has served as vocal instructor and choral director at both the high school and college levels, minister of music in a number of churches and conductor of the local chapters of the Sweet Adelines and Electric City Harmonizers. He sang for three years with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus and for one year with the Robert Shaw Chamber Singers under Mr. Shaw’s direction. Dr. Heritage is Director of Music at St. John’s United Methodist Church and teaches voice at his own private studio. He and his wife Carla live in Anderson.
